about me.
I was a drama kid in high school. Hilariously I wasn't great at acting, but there was no AV club at my school. I had a fascination with video and admiration for visual and performing arts. I began creating commercials and stills of productions performed by our drama club to advertise our shows. With my teacher's praise and my first feel of being "published" - I wanted more. From there I dabbled with multimedia and advertising, and eventually found myself studying film and photography in Chicago. While that journey was exciting, I was ready to come home to the Pacific Northwest.
Starting a family and putting down permanent roots, I continued my education into graphic design, where I combined all of my knowledge to pursue a career in video marketing. While my job keeps me busy, I still love to capture the beauty of the world outside of the industry. Every day life. The beauty of nature, the love of a family, embracing different cultures, and experiencing new things. I've learned that life is short so you have to live it, but I've also learned how much I appreciate getting to relive them with photography and video, and that's why I still love to work with people. To document those moments for others as well.
